Miles is a personal trainer based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, specializing in strength and power development for two key groups:

  1. everyday athletes – for active professionals who want to train with intention, build real strength and power, and move better in everyday life. programming is designed to improve performance, support long-term health, and keep you injury-free, strong, and confident — in and out of the gym.

  2. High School Athletes – performance-focused training built to develop explosive power, sharpen movement, and reduce injury risk. the goal is to help young athletes compete with confidence, lead with purpose, and level up for whatever comes next — in sport and in life.

in addition to personal training, Miles is the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the United Nations International School and serves as a fitness advisor on several corporate boards.

Miles develops athletes with training that’s rooted in theory, and defined by experience.

Movement

  • I specialize in strength and power development. My approach emphasizes proper movement mechanics, progressive overload, and long-term development to ensure athletes and active individuals not only perform at their best but also build a solid foundation for lifelong health and performance.

for everyday athletes, programming is designed to preserve and enhance athletic qualities — including strength, power, mobility, and joint integrity — while addressing the physical demands of daily life. a focus on injury prevention, movement quality, and sustainable performance ensures clients stay resilient, capable, and confident in and out of the gym.

for high school athletes, training emphasizes sport-specific development rooted in biomechanics, movement efficiency, and progressive strength and power training. the goal is to optimize athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and build a foundation for long-term success at the next level of competition.

Nutrition

  • My nutrition philosophy is centered around fueling the body for optimal performance and recovery.

For everyday athletes, I emphasize a sustainable, whole-food-based approach to nutrition that supports strength, energy, and recovery, while also managing the demands of busy lives.

For high school athletes, I work with them on creating balanced, nutrient-dense meals that support growth, energy, and recovery while helping them build the foundation for long-term health and athletic success.

I am not a dietitian, nor am i claiming to be one; further, My focus is not on treating or curing disease. instead, I work to distill the research and science behind nutritional biochemistry to support you in moving closer towards a minimally processed diet to optimize your performance, health, and vitality.

Breathwork

  • My breathwork philosophy focuses on strengthening the respiratory system to enhance both physical and mental performance, whether in exercise or rest.

For everyday athletes, breathwork becomes a tool for managing stress, improving mental clarity, and supporting overall wellness.

For high school athletes, I incorporate breathwork techniques to improve focus, reduce stress, and support recovery, helping them stay calm under pressure and perform at their best.

I start by retraining the body to breathe properly, addressing any foundational dysfunction. Then, I apply evidence-based protocols rooted in modern research and ancient Eastern practices to improve diaphragm function, CO2 tolerance, and nervous system regulation.
